My experience also includes the duties of an Assistant Medical Director for a busy HCA Emergency Department. In recent years, I earned a Masters Degree in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University. The impetus to earn a MMI originated as a Faculty Development project during my tenure as Core Faculty and Assistant Professor for the University of South Florida Emergency Medicine Residency Program where I was the Webmaster Coordinator, IT Liaison and "Physician Champion" for the implementation and training for the ER's Epic EHR system and Wellsoft documentation software.
Presently, I am employed as a Physician Advisor Manager for a healthcare revenue compliance company. Additionally, I am a part time clinician with a busy Tampa medical clinic.
