- Michael Jay Nusbaum, MD, FACS, FASMBS began the Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgery Program at St. Barnabas Medical Center back in 1998. He was Director and Chief of that program until 2009. In 2008 he was asked to take over the Bariatric Program at Morristown Medical Center and Has been Chief of Bariatric Surgery ever since. His practice focuses on Surgical and Non-surgical weight loss as well as revisions of previous failed bariatric surgery. His practice offers: Medical Weight Management with Weight Loss Medications, Surgical Weight Loss options- Gastric Bypass, Gastric Sleeve, Gastric Band, Gastric Balloon, Endoscopic Procedures, Endoscopic Revision, Endoscopic Surgery as well as Combination Surgery and Weight Loss Medications. His practice also offers Non-invasive Body Contouring Liposuction.
