- Michael Miovic, MD, is a Boston-based psychiatrist with extensive experience in psycho-oncology and consultation-liaison psychiatry. His educational background includes a Psychiatry residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School, a Psychosocial Oncology fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and medical schooling at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Miovic currently works for the VA in Primary Care/Mental Health Integration. He has published original work on "consciousness-based" psychology in the light of Sri Aurobindo's thought, as well as the first and so far only article in all of medical literature to examine the U.S. stock market as a social determinant of health and explain why some of the American market should belong to the American people as right of birth.
