Summary
- My primary areas of interest include vascular malformations, critical limb ischemia, and venous and gynecologic intervention. Through the treatment of these and other conditions, I pride myself in building strong multidisciplinary relationships and team concepts – with the goal of optimizing the care of patients. I have built the clinical practice to become a comprehensive consult service that addresses the multiple needs of interventional patients and their referring physicians. I hail from Pennsylvania where I graduated from Penn State and received my medical degree from Drexel University. Following my internship, I completed my radiology residency and fellowship at Duke University. I took a position at Latrobe Area Hospital in Pennsylvania for three years, but I could not get North Carolina off my mind! In 2003 I joined the interventional faculty at Duke University Medical Center, while my wife and I raise our two sons. I accepted the Division Director of Interventional Radiology and Image Guided Medicine at Emory University in 2016 and served in that position for two years. I had the opportunity of leading a talented group of Interventional Radiologists to provide exceptional care, research and education within a World Class Health System. In May of 2018 I returned to North Carolina and am fortunate to be practicing at Wake Forest Baptist Health. I look forward to developing a robust clinical practice and building strong multidisciplinary relationships.
