Summary

• Dr. Michael Macri received his medical degree from the The Chicago Medical School, and completed residencies in General Surgery at the very prestigious Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA. He was part of an elite trauma team where he served as Chief Resident. While there, he treated all forms of head and facial trauma and had specialized training in the cosmetic reconstruction of those areas. He completed a second residency in the field of Family Practice at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, NJ, again serving as Chief Resident. He was an Emergency Physician at Pascack Valley Hospital, Westwood, NJ, Englewood Hospital in Englewood, NJ, and Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck, NJ, for six years.
  
  Dr. Macri’s experience and extensive surgical training have brought him to the forefront of cosmetic surgical and non- surgical technologies, combining science with an artistic eye and keen sense of proportion. Dr. Macri is Board Certified, a Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
  
  Dr. Macri was featured in the 2007 Guide to America’s Top Doctors, and was featured in Cambridge’s Who’s Who Registry for Professionals for 2007-2008. He has been selected by Alma Lasers as an educator of fellow physicians, and lectures across the country in aesthetic laser techniques.
  
  Dr. Macri was featured in the 2008 Record Reader’s Poll of Top 5 Cosmetic Surgeons in Bergen County, New Jersey. In April 2009, he earned the distinction of being Voted the #1 Cosmetic Surgeon in Bergen County, NJ in The Record Top 5 Reader’s Poll. In January 2011 MD Aesthetics Medical Spa and Laser Center was Voted Best Spa in Bergen County, NJ in Bergen Health and Life Magazine. Dr Macri was featured in 201 Magazine Bergen’s “Top Doctors” in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery May 2012.
