• Michael D. LaSalle, MD, FACS is a board certified, Diplomat of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. For over 21 years, he practiced as a staff attending urologist / surgeon at Saint Barnabas Medical Center Livingston, New Jersey - a division of the RWJ Barnabas Health System. Academically, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology/Surgery at the Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. He is the Co-Director of the Adult Urology Residency Program for Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, and he continues to teach and help organize urology education. Dr. LaSalle’s continues to promote excellence in urology healthcare delivery. He promotes comprehensive and compassionate care for his patients in the field of urology.
  
  Dr. LaSalle is considered a physician leader and prides himself on specialized attention to his patients. He was the previous Chief of the Section of Urology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center for 4 years. For the past 15 consecutive years, he has been consistently recognized by his peers as a New Jersey Monthly Magazine Top Doctor. As a recipient of the Physician Excellence in Healthcare Award at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in 2018, the award was given to Dr. LaSalle for embracing the mission of compassionate care, healthcare excellence and superior service to the patients and families at RWJBarnabas Health. Dr. LaSalle also serves on many committees at Saint Barnabas including the Medical Executive Committee, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and the Steering Committee for Research and Innovation. He has been very active in his community in providing education and innovation for healthcare delivery. In 2021, Dr. LaSalle was elected Treasurer of the Medical Staff at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, RWJBarnabas Health.
