Summary
- I am a psychiatrist board certified in both general adult psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. Mental health and it's treatment are highly stigmatized, making the initiation of psychiatric treatment intimidating for many. I am aware of these barriers to care and pay particular attention to easing anxiety by providing a professional space for consultation and treatment as well as utilize telepsychiatry when appropriate to increase access to care. My training in addiction and sex therapy enhances my ability to treat an array of mental health issues including but not limited to depression, bipolarity, psychosis, OCD, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and personality disorders. I also serve as the Medical Director of Integrated Psychiatry and Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital.
