Dr. Jakoby completed his undergraduate medical education at the Washington University (St. Louis) School of Medicine in 1995, followed by Internal Medicine Residency in the ABIM Clinical Investigator Pathway at Barnes Hospital (1997) and Endocrinology Fellowship at Washington University (2000). He currently serves as Division Chief of Endocrinology at SIU, and diabetes mellitus is his primary clinical and research interest.
