Summary

  • I am excited to be part of the provider family at Pediatric Associates of Northern Colorado. To be an effective physician, one must be equal parts scientist, counselor, advocate and partner to the patient and their family. I feel so privileged to have this job.

I was born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois, and attended college at Trinity University in San Antonio, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. I returned home to attend University of Chicago, where I earned a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and an MD from the Pritzker School of Medicine through the support of the Medical Scientist Training Program. Following graduation, I remained at University of Chicago for my pediatric residency, and ultimately joined the faculty as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics.
I have been practicing physician since 1999. Prior to joining PANC, I developed an interest and expertise in the care of children with chronic medical conditions, developmental disabilities and technology dependence. As the family’s pediatrician, I also took care of their other usually healthy children, with a focus on preventative medicine and the development of healthy lifestyles.

Throughout these years, our family’s favorite summer destination has been Northern Colorado, where we visit my wife Alexandra’s family and glory in the mountains – hiking, biking, fishing and camping. We are thrilled to be raising our three children — Sofie, Bella, and Orson — on the doorstep of our great Rocky Mountains. When our family is not spending time outdoors, we enjoy music together. My wife and I have played trumpet and violin in community orchestras for 25 years, and we are delighted to be raising a Piano Trio.
As a father, I am deeply honored to be your family’s pediatrician: your partner and resource in the care and cultivation of the most precious people in your life – your children.
