- Dr. Michael Flanagan is a Professor of Family & Community Medicine (FCM), and Humanities at the Penn State College of Medicine, located in State College, PA. He serves as Assitant Dean for Student Affairs at the University Park Campus, as well as Vice-Chair for FCM and medical director of the Park Ave office. He received his medical degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed a Family Medicine residency at Duke University, where he also served as chief resident. He completed a fellowship in Medical Humanities at Harvard Macy Institute. His research interests include nutrition and health, medical education, medical humanities and dermoscopy in primary care.
