Summary

  • My professional career started in 1995, as a solo private
practice practitioner. I developed a highly productive practice, seeing
300 patients in my clinic and another 25 consults monthly for 20 years.
Spread out amongst 4 hospitals and a private clinic. Exceptional
documentation guided by coding experts and detailed physical exams
led to becoming a “go to” specialist. Vital diagnostic testing and
thorough explanations consistently yielded 4-5 star patient reviews
throughout my career. Going the extra mile by double checking
    prescriptions, comprehensive hospitalization and post-hospitalization
evaluations made me invaluable and ensured a 70 hour work week.
Word of mouth from patients and midlevel providers tagged me as “the
most approachable doctor”resulting in rapid practice growth.
Transitioning to an employed setting, I maintained a robust
inpatient service at VA’s largest Spinal Cord Unit, as I also developed an
outpatient chemodenervation (Botox) clinic from a dozen to 200-300
procedures yearly for nearly 4 years.
Consultation is provided for Migraine, Stroke/Cerebral
hemorrhage, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Guillain Barre, Myasthenia
Gravis, Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, SCI, ALS, Sciatica, Neuropathy and
complications from systemic disease such as cancer, diabetes and
    trauma.
As EMRs became the norm I became a role model amongst my
peers learning and sharing template creation and streamlining medical
documentation. I have proficiency in VistA, Mckesson, Epic, Meditech
    and Practice Fusion.
