Dr. Dempewolf brings his specialty of general orthopedics and advanced training in Sports Medicine to Mid-America Orthopedics Kansas City.
Dr. Dempewolf was raised in St. Louis, and attended the University of Missouri as an undergraduate. He earned a dual degree DO/MBA program from Kansas City University of Medicine in conjunction with Rockhurst University. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency in the busy Level II Trauma Center of Riverside County Regional Medical Center in California. He was elected chief resident in his last year, reflecting his work ethic and abilities as a leader. He then went on to receive advanced training by completing a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Hoag Orthopedic Institute in Southern California. During this year, he assisted in the care of athletes at multiple levels, including the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, the University of California, Irvine, CA and multiple local high schools.
Dr. Dempewolf's primary focus is open and arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.
A devoted husband and father, Dr. Dempewolf enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He is excited to be a part of the Kansas City community and is accepting new patients.
