Summary
- I believe that investing in the highest quality medical training for our next generation of physicians is imperative to meet the primary care needs of a growing and increasingly diverse population.
As a faculty member in a large academic medical center that is also a safety-net hospital, I am privileged to serve in a variety of roles: precepting in the pediatric resident continuity clinic, running my own private practice clinic, work in the urgent care clinic, rounding on the inpatient wards, plus teaching, supervising residents, and serving in various administrative roles including utilization management work for the IPA of our FQHC. I am grateful for the opportunity to care for children with medical complexity, coordinating care between multiple subspecialties, while also serving our extremely diverse and economically underserved general pediatrics patient population.
