Summary
- I am currently chair of the Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases Department in the School of Public Health and an Infectious Diseases specialist in the Department of Pediatrics at Yale University, with a secondary appointment in the Department of Microbial Pathogenesis. My research focuses broadly on global health, tropical medicine and molecular parasitology, with a particular interest in the impact of helminth infections and malaria on maternal-child health. I'm also engaged in program development projects aimed at building public health research and implementation capacity in low/middle income countries.
