Summary
- I have developed an effective out pt screening interview technique for evaluation of PTSD that can be used both by military and non-military medical providers. It has been effective in preventing suicides and other violent behaviors. This technique has been shared with special forces personnel, military bases, and military families. It has been presented and accepted at Family Practice up-date lectures at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. My published book, A TOUR OF DUTY, is a teaching tool for this presentation.
Beyond that, I have had a full life as a family physcian practicing the full scope of family medicine.
