- Board certified in Psychiatry and the subspecialty Psychosomatics. Presently involved in increasing access to psychiatric care via telehealth. I have a adult psychiatry practice focusing on psychotherapy, psychopharmacology and the treatment of the medically ill psychiatric patient including geriatric patients. Participating as an investigator in a number of clinical trials for psychiatric medications including medications for GAD, Alzheimer's, Opiate Dependence, Bipolar Disorder and Treatment-Resistant Depression. Also trained in modalities for treatment- resistant depression and severe opiate dependence. I have 20 years of experience in treating cancer patients with psychiatric, cognitive, and behavioral difficulties . It was also my pleasure to serve veterans for over 13 years including as the Medical Consultant to the VA for the homeless programs.
