Michael Bergen, MD, is a radiologist based in Cleveland, OH, specializing in abdominal imaging and vascular & interventional radiology. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He holds a medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University. Currently, Dr. Bergen is employed as a staff physician at the Cleveland Clinic. He has extensive experience in procedures such as angiographic embolization and uterine fibroid embolization. His research includes publications on translumbar and transhepatic tunneled dialysis catheter placements and the surgical management of benign prostatic hyperplasia. He has received multiple accolades, including the New York Roentgen Society "Monthly Quiz Winner" and the American College of Phlebotomy Scholar award.
