- Dr. Michael Awad is dual trained in both Sleep Medicine and Sleep Surgery. Following an intensive five-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto he was selected to train at Stanford University’s Sleep Medicine & Sleep Surgery Fellowship.
Dr. Awad is an active researcher and global leader in the field of sleep having published both peer-reviewed research as well as multiple textbook chapters. He is a trusted medical advisor who is called upon by publicly-traded companies for his expertise.
He is a frequent lecturer at international conferences in the field of sleep and is the Chief of Sleep Surgery and a current Assistant Professor at Northwestern University – a Top 10 nationally ranked US Hospital.
