Summary
- Dr. Amponsah joined Cardiac Solutions in 2021 from Conemaugh Health Systems in Pennsylvania where he served as the director of the interventional cardiology service and was the lead physician for the TAVR program.
He currently serves on the Banner West Valley Cardiology Quality Committee.
Dr. Amponsah believes and practices empathy and works with his clients to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
Dr. Amponsah is fellowship trained in structural heart procedures including heart valves (TAVR), left atrial appendage occlusion (watchman), hole-in-heart (ASD/PFO) closures, complex coronary artery intervention including the use of mechanical circulatory support devices and the management peripheral arterial disease.
He diagnoses and treats the entire spectrum of adult cardiovascular diseases including coronary artery disease (heart attack), irregular heart rhythms, heart failure, hypertension, and high cholesterol.
