- Dr. Micah Olson founded Valley Healthspan, a Preventative/Functional Age Management practice, in 2024. The goal of his practice is to use a personalized approach to treat and prevent chronic diseases, with the ultimate goal of helping patients maintain their physical and cognitive ability, quality of life, and vitality as they age.
Dr. Olson received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He originally specialized in pediatric endocrinology, completing his pediatric endocrine fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. During his 14-year career at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Dr. Olson directed the state’s largest pediatric obesity program, received multiple NIH-funded research grants, served as PI of numerous industry-sponsored clinical trials, and co-authored over 25 peer-reviewed publications.
