- Menachem Weiss, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained cornea specialist. He has expertise in cataract, refractive and cornea surgery and provides general eye care with an emphasis on patient-centered communication.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University Dr. Weiss obtained his medical degree with a distinction in research from the University of Rochester in New York. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio where he was recognized by the University as Ophthalmology Resident of the Year. He then completed a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the University of Miami’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Dr. Weiss is a member of the Academy of Ophthalmology and has authored numerous publications in peer reviewed journals.
