Summary
- After having the great honor of serving as medical director for the Health Network by Cincinnati Children's (HNCC) 2013-2017, Dr. Blacklidge has returned to her role as clinician. She has joined the Human Genetics team in the Connective Tissue Clinic. Prior to leadership of HNCC, Dr. Blacklidge served three terms as president of the CCHMC Medical Staff and was instrumental in creation of the Professional Practice Evaluation Committee (PPEC), creation of the Executive Community Physician Leader, and establishing Medical Staff Orientation setting expectations for professionalism, professional boundaries and the CCHMC commitment to excellent physician/patient interaction. Her first employment work at CCHMC was in 2008 serving as a physician analyst for the EPIC Inpatient Go-Live. Dr. Blacklidge's clinical foundation came from 18 years of practice with Group Health Associates (now TriHealth), which was also the setting for her first physician leadership serving first as pediatrics director and then medical director for the group.
