Summary

I am a board certified Obstetrician Gynecologist and Vice Chair of Clinical Research in the Department of OBGYN at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. My scientific, training and education and clinical focus is on improving the health of women across the lifespan.

My research specifically aims to eliminate disparities in health and health care delivery for underserved women. My areas of research expertise are in dissemination and implementation, community engagement and health equity.

I also mentor and support the careers of many students and learners along the health and science related workforce pipeline. I have created Feinberg School of Medicine's first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) called "Career 911: Your Future Job in Medicine and Healthcare" which is the world's first global, free course to help plant the seed of possibility that a health and STEM related career is a possibility and then helps guide the learner through the steps required to jumpstart one's career path.
