Summary
- Dr. LoPresti, originally from New York, completed her undergraduate education at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at the City College of New York (CCNY), part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system, an accelerated BS/MD program. She then transitioned to New York University School of Medicine where she received her Doctor of Medicine in 2015 and completed a concentration in health disparities. She completed neurosurgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Lurie Children's Hospital, Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. During residency, she obtained a MPH at the University of Texas School of Public Health.
In 2023, she joined the faculty as Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery and the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Rochester. She clinical and research interests include pediatric neurosurgery, epilepsy, neuro-oncology, cerebrovascular disease, hydrocephalus, and public health.
