Summary
- I am passionate about creating a more equitable and just world by improving individual and population health outcomes and addressing the social determinants of health both locally and globally through pursuit of a career in ophthalmology. I am working toward this currently as an ophthalmology resident at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC) and Master of Public Health (MPH) student at the Indiana University School of Public Health.
Previously, I graduated at my hometown state's medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Before this, I was a high school chemistry educator in Baltimore working to shape the next generation of innovators, leaders, and critical thinkers in growing professionally and personally.
