- I Have over 15 years of emergency and critical care nursing experience. I received my Masters of Science in Nursing from George Mason University in 2007. I currently work as a geriatric nurse practitioner for the Memory Disorders Program at Georgetown University. I serve as sub-investigator in clinical trials of potential new treatments for Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, I serve as a clinician in our Memory Disorders Program through the department of Neurology at Medstar Georgetown Hospital specializing in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with dementia and related disorders.
I am a published co-author and continue to support my specialty nursing organizations as a member of The Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association and The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
I enthusiastically present seminars and educational lectures in the Washington DC area. I also educate students and residents regarding Alzheimer’s care and research.
I am a certified dementia care specialist.
