• Dr. Megan Melody is a hematologist/oncologist with a specialty in malignant hematology practicing in Tampa, FL. Dr. Melody specializes in the medical treatment of patients with both Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma as well as the application of cellular therapy including hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy, and bispecific antibodies. She earned her medical degree from the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, where she developed a deep interest in hematologic malignancies. Dr. Melody completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, before finishing her fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Throughout her career, Dr. Melody has been dedicated to advancing the care of patients with hematologic cancers. She is actively involved in clinical research, focusing on developing new therapeutic strategies and improving patient outcomes. She has been credited with several peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, and book chapters in her areas of expertise and has presented her research at the regional, national, and international levels. Her academic achievements have been recognized with several awards, including the SOHO Young Investigator Travel Award, ASH Abstract Achievement Award, ASTCT and CIBMTR Abstract Travel Grant, and ECOG-ACRIN Young Investigator Award. Dr. Melody is a member of multiple hematology/oncology organizations, including ASCO, ASH, AACR, SOHO, ASTCT, FLASCO, and FMA.
