Summary

• Dr. Megan Hilbert specializes in Emergency Medicine and is currently practicing in the community setting in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was previously a clinical Instructor at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside in Oakland, PA. She completed her medical education and residency in Emergency Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by an Ultrasound Fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She has contributed to several publications, most notably in the fields of point-of-care ultrasound. Her particular interest is in the teaching of point-of-care ultrasound to resident physicians, curriculum development, and regional anesthesia. Dr. Hilbert received the UPMC Physician Excellence Award for New Physician Excellence in Clinical Care in 2023 and the Faculty Excellence Award in 2024. She currently serves as the newsletter editor and secretary of the American College of Emergency Physicians Emergency Ultrasound Section.
