Chikaodi Kay MBA is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Doctorate in nursing practice from the University of Maryland and a certificate in Substance use and Addiction. During her undergraduate program at the University of Maryland School of Nursing, she demonstrated strong academic excellence evidenced by her outstanding GPA. She was a recipient of the institutional honor of Cum Laude award. She returned for her graduate program in Community and Public Health Nursing where she also obtained a Certificate in Teaching in Nursing and Health Professions. Her career goal is to improve mental health care access in her community, reduce mental health stigma, and be a leader for young nurses through consultation, mentoring, preceptorship, and professional development.
