- Dr. Maureen Killackey trained as a gynecologic oncologist, having completed her fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and attended Weill Cornell Medicine. She holds a B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University. Dr. Killackey has retired from clinical practice, and after 25 years of developing multidisciplinary cancer programs, is now working with the NYS Department of Health as Chair of the Cancer Advisory Council and Co -Chair of the NYS Survivorship Action Team, developing CDC-grant funded projects. She also a Site Reviewer for the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer and is on the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Quality, Safety and Performance Improvement Committee and member of her hospital's Cancer Committee. She has multiple publications in her field and has been recognized for her excellence in teaching and mentorship.
