- Dr. Maureen Gilmore completed her Pediatrics residency at the University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital and her Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. Her career in neonatology began at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center (1997-2001). Dr. Gilmore returned to Johns Hopkins in 2001, serving as JHBMC level III NICU Medical Director for 19 years, and more recently as JHCC Level IV NICU Medical Director through Nov 2024. She has contributed significantly to the field through her research, with multiple publications in recognized journals. Dr. Gilmore has also participated in numerous clinical trials and is recognized as a Fellow by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Currently she serves as Senior Advisor in Neonatology, mentoring more junior NPM faculty.
