Summary

  • Dr. Wise is a board-certified Sports Medicine and Family Medicine physician currently on faculty at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is trained in a multitude of procedures including landmark, fluoroscopic, and ultrasound guided injections of and around joints, bursae, tendons, and nerves as well as percutaneous tenotomy, radiofrequency ablation, and implantation of peripheral nerve stimulators. Having worked in the ski clinics at Alta and Snowbird, he is also experienced with acute fracture and dislocation care with and without sedation. Outside of clinic, Dr. Wise has served as sideline coverage for professional organizations such as Real Salt Lake and the Utah Jazz as well as their respective semi-professional teams, for multiple NCAA Division-I sports including football for the University of Utah Utes, and for several local high schools and marathons in Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Fort Worth, TX. He has also worked with several US Olympic and Paralympic Committee National Governing Bodies including US Speedskating, USA Luge, and USA Climbing and Paraclimbing.
