He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from West Virginia Wesleyan and then attended West Virginia University where he earned a Masters Degree in Biology and then his Medical Degree in 1987. He attended medical school on a military scholarship from the US Navy, where he served as a Flight Surgeon for 5 years before attending his Dermatology Residency at Bethesda Naval Hospital. He then served in the Navy as a Dermatologist in Okinawa, Japan and Rota Spain before retiring as a Commander and starting his practice in Greenville, SC in 2001. Dr. Miller specializes in General Dermatology, Dermatology Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology.
