Summary
- I am completing my General Surgery at Yale School of Medicine, Department of Surgery and Yale New Haven Hospital. I will graduate in 2022 with the plan to pursue trauma/critical care/acute care surgery fellowship. I am interested in underserved populations, public health research and interventions relating to violence and acute care surgery, global health, and resident/student wellbeing. During my research time I completed my Masters in Public Health at Yale School of Public Health with a focus on biostatistics and epidemiology. This was a fantastic educational experience and helped be more deeply understand research methods, modeling, and the power of connecting clinicians with community health, policy leaders, and other healthcare professionals in thinking of complex solutions to systemic health issues. I hope to practice trauma and acute care surgery at an academic trauma center with the opportunity to teach residents and students.
