Matthew Dacso, MD, is an Internal Medicine specialist based in San Antonio, Texas. He completed his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in 2006 and went on to pursue a residency in Internal Medicine at Brown University from 2006 to 2009. Dr. Dacso has made significant contributions to medical literature with publications across multiple esteemed journals including The Journal of American Geriatrics Society, Health Security, One Health, and The American Journal of Medicine. His works focus on a range of topics including healthcare worker safety during COVID-19, biosecurity threats, global health, as well as insights on residency during the pandemic and medical practices in resource-limited settings.
