• I am a fellowship-trained board certified orthopaedic surgeon for Marshall Orthopaedics at Cabell Huntington Hospital who specializes in all aspects of hip and knee replacement. My dedicated team of assistants, nurses, therapists, and other support staff enables me to provide a first class experience for patients and their families. Each patient is unique where non-operative treatments are attempted before surgery. I believe explaining the problem, defining expectations, and outlining a plan are all key to a successful recovery.
  
  Prior to obtaining my medical degree, I practiced as a physical therapist caring for and rehabilitating patients with various orthopedic injuries. I especially enjoyed working with joint replacement patients because of their improved mobility and enhanced quality of life. As an osteopathic orthopaedic surgeon, I take a holistic approach to each patient and explain how their orthopedic problem can impact their overall function.
