- Dr. Matin Imanguli is a fellowship trained Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgeon with background in both Otolaryngology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He currently serves as Director of Surgical Oncology for Hackensack Meridian Health Central Region.
He received his medical degree from University of Chicago The Pritzker School of Medicine and completed Residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX and Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. He also completed several training programs focused on Oral Medicine and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. He has been in clinical practice since 1995.
Dr. Imanguli specializes in all types of head & neck oncologic surgery, including minimally invasive surgery, transoral robotic surgery, laser surgery and thyroid surgery. He is experienced in head and neck reconstruction, including microvascular free tissue transfer, and maxillofacial surgery. He speaks multiple languages, including Russian, Spanish, and Azerbaijani/Turkish.
