Summary
- My medical career has been as a doctor for women in Africa. I have had the high privilege of serving as a missionary doctor with the Presbyterian Church (USA) from 1989 - 1998 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and from 1998 - 2009 in Malawi. I am especially interested in preventing maternal mortality in Africa, helping prevent and treat vesico-vaginal fistulas, and preventing cancer of the cervix in Africa.
