  • Dr. Mary Fristad is Director of Academic Affairs and Research Development in the Division of Child & Family Psychiatry and Big Lots Behavioral Health Services at Nationwide Children's Hospital and Emerita Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, Psychology, and Nutrition at the Ohio State University. Dr. Fristad is board certified in clinical psychology and clinical child and adolescent psychology. She has served on the inaugural executive boards and been president of both the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology and the American Board of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. She is Editor-in-Chief of Evidence-based Practice in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, and Psychotherapy Trials Deputy Editor for the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Fristad has been principal investigator, co-investigator, or consultant on 75 federal, state, industry, and/or foundation grants focused on assessment and treatment of mood disorders in children and has published over 200 books and articles on that topic.
