Dr. Martha Scott is an Emergency Medicine specialist based in Portland, ME. She completed her MD at Boston University School of Medicine in 1974, where she received the Phi Delta Epsilon Award and the University Hospital Medical Student Prize for her excellence in Internal Medicine. Her residency in Internal Medicine was also completed at Boston University Medical Center from 1974 to 1977. Her career includes roles as Assistant Director at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Assistant Clinical Professor at Geisel School of Medicine, and Clinical Instructor at Michigan Medicine. Dr. Scott has been recognized with the Health Care Hero Award for Excellence in Emergency Medicine in 2014 and the Physician Survey Award in 2013. She authored the publication "Being a Mother Takes Art and Science Too" in 1988.
