• Dr. Mark Sherman is a general surgeon based in La Jolla, CA, specializing in minimally invasive surgery. He has extensive experience and expertise in laparoscopic and robotic procedures.   Following graduation with distinction from Stanford University, he attended the University of California San Diego School of Medicine where he was Class President. He completed his surgical residency in 1994 with rotations at the University of California (San Diego) Medical Center, VA Medical Center in San Diego, and City of Hope. He has been in practice at Surgical Associates of La Jolla since 1994 where he is currently President of the practice. Dr. Sherman is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
