Summary
- Six+ years of experience as the (former) Chief Medical Informatics Officer for the Providence Epic Connect program, the largest Connect program in the country. During my time in IT leadership I also served as the system population health, and government programs liaison (Meaningful Use) as well as Medical Director for the ICD 10 transition, I am a board certified family physician with fellowship training in residency education, primary care research and development. Additionally, I am board eligible for Clinical Informatics.
I am currently seeing primary care and urgent care patients with Providence Medical Group, Oregon. As my career continues to unfold, I am passionate about helping organizations successfully implement or optimize their current EHR as well as working with providers to help improve efficiency, work/life balance and job satisfaction. I have been fortunate to have had diverse experiences in many different healthcare cultures and look forward to finding my next change agent role.
