- Mark Rosner, MD, is an board certified emergency medicine specialist who retired after 30 years of clinical practice. He graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1983 and completed his residency in emergency medicine at Henry Ford Health/Henry Ford Hospital in 1986. He is currently Director of Education and Research at the NeuroVisual Medicine Institute and co-director of the NeuroVisual Medicine Training Program (where optometrists worldwide are trained in the methods and techniques of this new specialty). He has authored several publications related to binocular vision dysfunction and vertical heterophoria, which have been cited multiple times in other research. Dr. Rosner has also been involved in clinical trials focusing on treatments for vertical heterophoria. He is recognized as a Fellow (FACEP) by the American College of Emergency Physicians, and as a Fellow (FAAO) of the American Academy of Optometry.
