    Mark S. Rosenthal, MD, FACC, is the Program Director of the Cardiology Fellowship Program at Morristown Medical Center and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

    He is on the attending staffs of Morristown Medical Center, where he also co-directs and teaches at the Cardiology Fellowship Continuity Clinic, and Chilton Medical Center, where he has served as cardiology departmental chairman, cardiac catheterization laboratory director and chairman of the critical care committee.

    His areas of interest include medical education, management of valvular heart disease, medical management of coronary artery disease and congestive heart failure, and he has been involved in several public health initiatives.

    After graduating from Haverford College and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he completed internal medicine and cardiology training at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where he also served as Chief Medical Resident.

    He is the founding partner of Cardiology Associates of North Jersey, where he has practiced consultative and invasive cardiology since 1993.

    Dr. Rosenthal has served as a consulting cardiologist for the Telluride Institute for Altitude Medicine in Colorado. He founded and organized the Telluride Public Access Defibrillator and CPR Training Program, which received national recognition with the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association and the regional chapter of the American Heart Association.

    His New Jersey practice has participated in multicenter international clinical trials investigating novel antithrombotic agents in atrial fibrillation, as well as the use of new lipid interventions in secondary prevention for coronary artery disease.

    He is the father of two children and an avid skier and mountain and road bicyclist.
