Summary

  • I am a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, subspecialty certified in Sports Medicine.

I attended Tulane University in New Orleans, where I obtained a Masters of Science in Pharmacology degree. From there I attended Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where I earned my medical degree. Following medical school, I completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Southern Illinois University.

Upon completion of residency, I went on to complete a Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Minnesota/TRIA Orthopedics in Minneapolis, MN.

After successful completion of fellowship, I went on to private practice in Odessa, Texas. I eventually moved on to my current position as a Partner at Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, located in The Woodlands, Texas.

After successfully completing my Board Certification, I was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. I further enhanced my training by successfully obtaining a subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

My areas of focus include cartilage restoration in the knee, as well as tendon and complex ligamentous injuries to the knee, ankle, elbow, and shoulder. These injuries include multiple ligament knee injuries, anterior and posterior cruciate tears, meniscus injuries, rotator cuff tears, AC separations, and biceps/quad/patellar tendon injuries.

In addition, I also manage osteoarthritis of the knee and shoulder with advanced procedures including Mako-assisted partial and total knee replacement, as well as patient-specific total shoulder and reverse total shoulder replacement.

Furthermore, I also perform both adult and pediatric acute fracture care for upper and lower extremity fractures, including conservative management and operative fixation.
