- Dr. Mark Chang is an Interventional and General Cardiologist based in Johnson City, TN. He completed fellowship and faculty work at the University of Chicago and the University of Minnesota. Prior to that, Dr. Chang finished his residency in internal medicine at the University of Chicago after earning his AB in Biochemistry from Harvard University and MD degree from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He also holds an MBA from Duke University. He has vast experience in general and interventional cardiology as well as practice management and leadership. Over decades he helped build and develop a large integrated regional cardiovascular care group and now continues his transformative work in healthcare system leadership. A respected physician leader, he also has numerous widely-cited publications to his name. He has been recognized by the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions and the American College of Cardiology with fellowships.
