- I am Medical Director for North country Community Mental Health, a six county public mental health system that covers the upper part of Michigan’s lower peninsula, which provides mental health services for moderately to severely affected people with mental illness. I also practice child and adolescent psychiatry in that setting. I had a private psychiatry practice which I closed when I was 66 years old and my grand children were born. Being a mother and grandmother is fulfilling, too.
