- As a local from the east side of Pittsburgh, I chose UPMC McKeesport and could not be more proud to complete residency training right near my hometown. I am passionate about patient-centered and community-based medicine as well as caring for underserved populations. I am so thankful to have found a program that shares the same values serving the very same community that I grew up in. The people, in addition to the place, just feel like home!
