  • I am a Professor of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at University of Colorado School of Medicine, and am a health services researcher with a focus on (1) predicting outcomes for children with acute asthma exacerbations, (2) measuring disparities related to social determinants of health, and (3) improving home delivery of oral rehydration therapy via a mobile health app. I am active in leveraging social media and other forms of digital media to promote healthcare advocacy and medical scholarship and I direct over a dozen social media accounts for various organizations related to child health research and policy.
