Summary

• I am a board certified Internist and Rheumatologist. I have been practicing traditional Internal Medicine, basic Rheumatology,Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine. I previously created an Urgent Care for Rheumatology patients. I noted a gap in these patients’ care when they had acute routine illnesses and needed urgent evaluation and treatment.
  
  I have leveraged my unique skill set to serve as a Medical Director in one of the nation’s largest Occupational Medicine companies.
  
  Through my traditional training in Rheumatology, I have been able to broaden my knowledge and extend my ability to evaluate as well as treat patients in need and maintain the health and safety of the American work force.
  
  In addition, I work as a patient advocate in the geriatric community to ensure that the best interests of these patients are carried out. I help in coordinating care with the healthcare community and the patients’ families. Education of the families about medical and health terminology is a crucial component.
  
  Regarding education, I serve as an advisor to an early-stage educational techology start-up.
  
  I believe that education in any form extends our personal wellbeing and that of our patients.
